Eat Like a Local – Champaign-Urbana is my second book with CZYK Publishing. It has interviews with individuals in the restaurant industry as well as slice-of-life encounters at 50 C-U eateries. My family members, friends, and new restaurant acquaintances all make appearances in the book. Readers will get a day-in-the-life sense of what it’s like to eat at great places in Champaign-Urbana as well as the nitty-gritty details on what it takes to run a restaurant and do it for a living for a long time. C-U residents, meanwhile, will be familiar with the well-known eateries in the book, while tourists of the area will discover what makes the establishments stand out and has contributed to their longevity.
